The idea of life cycles and cycles within nature is a topic that always fascinates me.Cycles are everywhere. They are inherent in nature, in our bodies and even in the cosmos.This got me thinking about the significance of them and what their purpose actually is.I believe that cycles are an aspect of creation which allow us to experience time in a more 'physical' way. You could even say that they help give form to time in this timeless and infinite universe.As most of us know, time does not truly exist. There is only oneness within the universe and and as such all of existence is happening in just one moment.Yes just one. single. moment.Therefore the role of a cycle, whether that be the cycle of the seasons, night and day, or the cyle of the moon, is to both break apart time but also to reveal it's infinite nature.Cycles are constant and will go on forever. They are a sacred blueprint of the universe and help us to truly understand time.How do you feel about cycles? Something I am trying to do more of is find happiness in each present moment.I believe this is the key to living a truly happy life.Life will always have ups and downs no matter where you find yourself but if you can appreciate the little things, then you will always find happiness.I have also always noticed that so often we only appreciate the happy times after they are gone and often fail to appreciate them when we are actually experiencing them. Perhaps it is just a part of our human nature where we take things for granted.Imagine if every time you were really happy you took the time to properly soak up the whole experience of it and said to yourself "right now I am having a really great time". How wonderful would it be to really focus on that feeling of joy?Well, this is something I want to always do. I want to appreciate all the good times and even find some joy in the not so good times.
